Eyelid surgery is an excellent option for addressing sagging upper eyelids, eliminating noticeable bags under the eyes, and restoring the overall beauty of your eyes. The eyes and the surrounding tissues are very delicate, so if you are considering undergoing eyelid surgery, there are a few things you should know.
After eyelid surgery, it is very common for the patient to experience dry eyes. Although the issue is not medically concerning, it can cause some patients noticeable discomfort, which can make the recovery period more difficult.
Because of this issue, oculofacial plastic surgeon Dr. Gregory Lewen recommends that his patients use artificial tear drops about three to four times a day after their procedure.
